Its tax credit-qualifying, variable-speed fan with an electronically-controlled blower motor is programmed to optimize airflow comfort, manage seasonal humidity levels and operate at a high electrical efficiency. This furnace can also extend efficiency to your cooling system by raising the seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER) of select Payne air conditioners and heat pumps by up to 1.5 points.*
